a fresh start... with wafels.

so about that whole blogging thing... clearly, i suck at keeping up with it [...this is not an indication of my ability to commit. just sayin'.]

anyways, i'm going to give it another shot, for real this time. i've been meaning to for a while, but what pushed me over the edge was eating an amazing waffle from the wafels & dinges truck last week. i am a breakfast connoisseur, and this was for serious one of the best waffles i've ever eaten. with nutella and bananas... mmm.

with that life-changing experience came a renewed desire to do this blog. here, i will:

*track down food carts around the five boroughs [or maybe just manhattan], sample their delicious wares, and review them,

*wax poetic about my love for liverpool fc, the new york yankees, columbia university rugby, the new york red bulls, and more,

*document various adventures i have around nyc as i attempt to burst out of the columbia bubble and appreciate this city for the amazing thing that it is.

that's it for now. midterms start this week but i'll try to actually get something up.

as the result of an unfortunate spelling error on my ninth grade english portfolio, i'm beat.

this is me. [sometimes i like to pretend i'm ~~asian~~ a tourist].

i like baking, cooking, sewing, reading, and being outside.

i like sports too much for my own good.

i like to think that writing like this is edgy, but it probably just wastes space.

i'm a vegetarian and a self-described hippie and sometimes i think i was born in the wrong era.

i live in new york city. it's amazing.

i like to have adventures and document awesome things.

so that's what i'll do on this blog.

i'll have a more exciting post up later.
